BIG NEWS!!!!

After a really lovely Sunday lunch out (blog post coming soon, watch out), the most special thing happened to me yesterday evening... Dan and I have been together for just over 3 years now. If you have read my previous posts, you'll know that we moved into our first home together just over a week ago. An Introduction: Part 2

List after list after list after list. This is what my life felt like the time between being accepted and moving day. We had booked to move on Saturday 28 th April. I had lists for kitchen essentials, lists of bathroom/toiletries, lists of bedroom furniture, lists for all other furniture and lists for food and cleaning supplies. Anything you can think of, I had a list for it. Where all these lists have now gone, I will never know! (If you’re needing help and you want to see what I put on my lists, let me know and I will post them!) My room seemed to get smaller by the day, and all our new home things had started overflowing onto the landing and the dining room of my Mum’s house. Home Bargains had become my favourite shop. They actually sell some lovely home ware for such great prices. I also really got into watch Brummy Mummy on YouTube. Her hauls are the best and I’m obsessed with her sense of humour. Emma, if you read this, please can we be friends? Thanks. Closer ...

An Introduction

Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down… No, I’m just joking! Well, this is a story about my life. It’s an on going story, so I can’t say for sure it won’t be flipped turned upside down, but I really hope it doesn’t go that way. I’m 21. I have a full time job. I have a boyfriend of 3 and a bit years, and we have just moved into our first home together. My story is all about how we’re growing up and how we’re dealing with all that life throws at us. It is so hard for young people growing up the ‘right way’ these days because every single person has an opinion on how you should be living. And every single person likes to voice their opinions to you, be it positive or not. In my case, they’re mostly not. Over the past few months, we have been planning our move. We didn’t really have a clue what we were doing (and we still don’t to be honest). But here is what we have figured out so far: -       -  Some house will NOT be ...
